Scimitar
Scimitar (also Schimitar or Szimitar) is a general term taken from English for oriental sabers, i.e. usually single-edged cutting and stabbing weapons with a curved blade, the shape of which reveals a Near Eastern origin.
The original Scimitar or Cimitarra had a deeply curved blade that traced almost a semicircle. Persian weapon of various uses in war. The blade is forged from carbon steel. The pommel is made of wood and the protection and decorations of the scabbard are made of steel.
